The two-time Super Bowl winning MVP may be back with Big Blue next season. Not looking through a facemask, but involved nonetheless.
Giants co-owner John Mara has stated publicly on multiple occasions (as early as Manning's retirement) that he would be ecstatic for the Giant's favorite son to return to the organization in any facet.
"Hopefully I'll be able to do some more things with the Giants next year as well," Manning said. "This year, it was new, didn't know how much I wanted to be around [the team]. I think we both needed a break from each other, but hopefully I can do some more things related to the Giants."
Manning's absence from the G-Men was necessary this past season. It gave the opportunity for Daniel Jones to take charge of this team and earn his role as a leader without the shadow of #10 looming overhead.
Now that Jones has done just that, I would love to see Manning come back and help this young team recapture their historic glory. The Giants are the only team to win a Super Bowl in each of the last four decades, (1986, 1990, 2007, 2011) and have the opportunity to extend that record by winning another championship in the next nine seasons.
